UI/UX Designer
Description We're looking for a new UI/UX designer for our growing VR/360° Video product team! In this role, you would be focusing on our 2D design initiatives, while still collaborating closely with 3D designers to build out a cohesive experience. While you'll focus primarily on crafting the UI design initiatives for mobile and web products, you'll need to work within the boundaries of a strong user experience (one that you'll also help to define and design). Key Qualifications: True interaction design experience – you know how to get past the visuals into the nitty-gritty details Clearly demonstrable experience designing for iOS, Android, and web You know designing for different platforms means solving the same problem in various ways – and you can quickly identify those problems/solutions Must be comfortable designing with Sketch Additional Qualifications Should be familiar with modern design trends and interaction patterns Understanding of visual and user interface design platform conventions for Virtual Reality or Augmented Reality products Experience designing/illustrating with Adobe's CC suite, and prototyping with something like Principle or InVision Can collaborate well with engineering team on concepts and designs Experience with rapid prototyping, with an emphasis on usability and interaction Ability to test features for usability and making changes where necessary, while taking an iterative, agile approach Experience with motion design Strong sense of hierarchy, iconography, typography, and color Strong ability to manage the completion of tasks within a set timeline Willingness to learn, and tackle projects out of normal scope of work Strong product sense and understanding Care deeply about the user experience Familiarity with HTML/CSS/Javascript development
