Job Description
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Industrial Cleaner / Janitorial Associate to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized facility and will be comfortable performing repetitive cleaning and housekeeping tasks.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform routine cleaning including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming throughout the facility and common areas.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other designated areas.
Collect and properly dispose of trash and recyclables according to company procedures.
Clean, stock, and replenish supplies such as paper products, soap, and sanitation materials.
Safely handle and use cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer instructions and company policies.
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and report any malfunctions or repair needs.
Inspect work areas and notify management of safety hazards, maintenance needs, or areas requiring additional attention.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and attendance requirements.
Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations, including proper use of required PPE.
Perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining quality standards.
Accurately complete cleaning checklists, logs, and other required documentation.
Assist production and warehouse teams with general housekeeping and utility tasks as needed.
Work effectively as part of a team to maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility.
Qualifications
Previous janitorial, industrial cleaning, warehouse, or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.
Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to safely use cleaning products, equipment, and required PPE.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Must be dependable, punctual, and a team player.
